Jim Becker
is a singer/songwriter who puts his cards on the table with
this clean, mellow five-song effort. "Grace State
of Mind" reminds us of John Denver (is it a coincidence
Becker is from Colorado?) in its honesty, sensitivity and
melody. The relationship ballad, "Falling For
Me," showcases this performer's plaintive vocal sincerity
and assured guitar work. By and large, there is an
audience for Becker's mature music and he shows promise. He
has most recently in August 2002 been seen as a soloist at
performer at the POPKOMM stage in Cologne, Germany received
air play on the Armed Forces Radio Network, Europe. In
April 2002 Jim had the opportunity to spend a day and meet
Vince Gill and Amy Grant at their home in Nashville and
possibly working together some day. In 2001 Jim�s first CD
entitled James Becker appeared on the 44th Grammy Entry List
in two categories Album of the Year and Counter party Folk
Album of the Year. He also appeared in several trade
publications in the last year and current year 2002 which
include Music Connection Magazine, and the Inside Connection
Magazine and Totally Adult Magazine. The songs �Fair
Warning� and Grace State of Mind and wishing you were here
appeared on Totally Adult CD Radio Samplers this current year
and last year. Currently, Jim has just completed work on
new CD project
that will be out later this year. His first CD is
